The BLACK spot on this image is directly over Train NS32 a couple of minutes before the derailment, and is almost centered on the Hot Box Detector that registered the 250+ degree overheated wheel bearing. This NEXRAD Radar Product indicates that the target that the radar was picking up was substantially taller than it was wide. The interesting thing, though, is that that object is about 2,623 feet above the ground so it couldn’t be smoke or dust from the train, (which would not arrive at that location for 2 more minutes!).

Images like this are also known to be indicative of strong updrafts or downdrafts, (perhaps caused from large fast moving projectiles or ground based concussions/explosions?)

As for any aircraft in that area at that time that might have caused the BLACK Radar Target, only one appears in public flight database records. Research has revealed that only one aerial target was in that airspace at that time, with said being one listed as a “Gulfstream G650ER”. However, this listing is devoid of any other identifying specifics other than it was a “Business Jet”, which is very peculiar considering that it appeared in the public database after a filter was applied to only list “Military/Government” aircraft.

This target was flying at an altitude of 40,075 feet at a ground speed of 590 knots. Other operational specifics of this flight are not found in the database which would normally include them for all flights listed. Therefore it cannot be ascertained what the actual airspeed was; or what name the aircraft was registered under; or the crafts serial number; or in which country it was registered.

Of note here is that this anonymous aircraft passed over the railroad tracks heading into East Palestine at the same time that the 1.76 mile long train was traveling below it.

It should also be reiterated that this aircraft was at an elevation of 40,075 feet, while the BLACK Radar Target over the Hot Box Detector was only at 2,623 feet, so they are NOT the same object. Unless of course the BLACK Radar Target was actually something that either fell from the jet or was expelled from it, in which case the descending arc of any such object could explain the ORANGE, PINK, BLACK Target sequence, and the changing shapes of the targets from horizontal to round to vertical.

Picture it as when Luke Skywalker in Starwars shot a missile down the Reactor Shaft and its downward curved trajectory. Any such arc in an atmosphere that contained objects such as ice crystals or dust would initially elongate the crystals/dust in the horizontal direction as they were pushed sideways, (ORANGE Radar Target). Then, and as the arced missile reached mid-arc, (both sideways and downward movement), the Radar would detect the particles as being uniform in shape, (PINK Radar Target), as the sideways and up and down forces would be equal. Finally, as the arc was completed and the object was then falling straight downwards, the ice crystals/dust would be forced into a vertical up and down shape, (BLACK Radar Target).

Conversely, a ground based explosion would create similar shapes in the ice crystals/dust above and to all sides of the detonation.

As for if there was any other aircraft in that area at that time, there is only one more listed, an “Airbus Helicopters H135” listed as belonging to “STAT MedEvac”; with a Registration Number of “N534ME”; Serial Number of 2134; and registered in the United States.

The interesting thing about this aircraft is that it passed over the train tracks 10 minutes prior to the derailment and less than one mile east of the point of derailment.

Within that 10 minute time frame this helicopter traveled another 2-1/2 miles, at which time it HELD ITS POSITION just east of Unity, Ohio, for approximately 8 minutes, before it SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED almost to the same second that the BLACK Radar Target appeared over the East Palestine Hot Box Detector that registered the 250+ degree overheated wheel bearing 2 minutes before the derailment.

Needless to say, this 1823 phrase from Lord Byron comes to mind: “Truth is stranger than fiction”.
